Yolanthé Fawehinmi is a journalist who advocates for innovation in storytelling and technology. 

She is currently a senior lifestyle reporter at PA Media and the host of Black Prose.  

Previously, Yolanthé was a features writer at The Daily Telegraph and on the paper’s editorial graduate programme between September 2018 and 2020, where she completed secondments at The Liverpool ECHO and PA Media.  

The scheme also included an eight-week formal multimedia journalism training course with the agency and rotations across The Telegraph's newsroom.

Prior to joining The Telegraph in late 2018, Yolanthé graduated with an MA in Digital Journalism from Goldsmiths, University of London.

In May 2019, Yolanthé contributed to a book called After Grenfell: Violence, Resistance and Responsewith a photo essay about how the fire unveiled the way power operates in Great Britain.

She is the 2023 recipient of the We Are Black Journos Breakthrough Award and has also hosted masterclasses and talks on breaking into journalism and improving the relationship between journalists and PR at Marie Claire UK, Vuelio, Birkbeck University, Kensington Aldridge Academy, Francis Holland School, Kingston University London, Archbishop Lanfranc Academy, The Telegraph's Media Literacy Programme and Christians in Media, just to name a few.

Yolanthé is available for freelance proofreading, copywriting, writing commissions and speaking engagements.
